Answers to the most common questions about using Weave.
1. How do I create an account?
Go to the login screen and tap Sign Up. You can create an account using email or available social login options. Follow the on-screen steps to complete registration.
2. How do I reset my password?
Tap Forgot Password on the login screen, enter your email, and follow the link sent to your inbox to reset your password.
3. I can't log in. What should I do?
Please check:
- Your email and password are correct
- You have a stable internet connection
- Your app is updated to the latest version

4. The app is crashing or freezing. How can I fix this?
Try the following:
- Close and reopen the app
- Restart your device
- Update the app to the latest version
- Reinstall the app

5. How do I report a bug or send feedback?
Email us at hello.weave.app@gmail.com with:
- Your device model
- iOS version
- Steps to reproduce the issue
- Screenshots (if possible)
6. How do I delete my account?
Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account. This action is permanent and cannot be reversed.
7. Will I lose my data if I reinstall the app?
If you are logged into your account, your stored data is synced to your profile and will not be lost.
If you use the app without an account, some local data may be erased.
8. Is my data secure?
Yes. We follow modern security standards and never sell personal information. Read our full privacy policy here.
9. Does the app work offline?
No. It has to be connected to the internet.
10. How do I contact support?

11. Why is the location not accurate?
Accuracy depends on the information provided in the original social media post.
If the creator didn't include an address or tag, we can only approximate based on text or caption hints.

12. How do I save a location?
After a location is detected, it will automatically be saved.
You can also add it manually by copying the link of the post and pasting it into the function.
13. Why can't the app detect a location from a link?
This may happen if:
- The post doesn't contain any location metadata
- The video/caption doesn't mention a place
- The link is private or restricted
Try adding the location manually.

14. Can I sync my saved locations across devices?
Yes, as long as you are logged into the same account. Your saved folders and locations will automatically sync.
15. Are my saved videos private?
Yes. Saved content and extracted locations are only visible to you unless you choose to share them.
